MICHAEL ROBERTSON

Prodigy Movies is headed by Michael Robertson, a player in the Australian film industry since the 1980s as a writer, director and producer. A graduate of the University of New South Wales with postgraduate studies at the University of Southern California and member of the Screen Producers Association of Australia, he established the "cutting edge" tvcs production company, Prodigy and has won as a producer and director Cannes Lion, Mobius, One Show New York, WorldFest, CLIO, AWARD, MADC and ATV Awards.

Michael has directed three feature films - "The Best of Friends", "Going Sane" and "Back of Beyond". "Black Water" - directed by Andrew Traucki, was the first feature film produced by Prodigy Movies.

Prodigy has numerous films currently in development along with "The Reef".
